Ward Clerk (1-2 Yrs)

Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and organized Ward Clerk with 1-2 years of experience and an M.Pharma degree to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The Ward Clerk will be responsible for managing administrative and clerical tasks within the ward, ensuring efficient patient record management, and supporting the smooth operation of healthcare services. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and processes, essential for accurate documentation and communication within a healthcare import/export environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including admission, transfer, and discharge information.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the ward.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes, emails, and phone calls.
- Coordinate with medical staff, including doctors and nurses, to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Manage and maintain ward inventory of supplies and pharmaceuticals, including tracking stock levels and placing orders.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to patient care and ward operations.
- Assist with billing and insurance-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory guidelines for pharmaceutical import/export.
- Perform data entry and maintain databases for patient information and inventory.
- Provide general administrative support to the ward and its staff.
