3-4 Yrs Power Supply Technician at HAL

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Supply Technician with 3-4 years of experience to join our team at HAL in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of power electronics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting methodologies relevant to the Defence & Aerospace sector. This role involves the maintenance, repair, and testing of various power supply systems used in aircraft and other defence equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of power supply units, voltage regulators, and related electrical components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in complex power supply systems, identifying root causes of failure.
• Conduct functional tests and performance checks on power supply systems using specialized test equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals to guide repair and installation activities.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Document maintenance activities, repair logs, and test results accurately.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
