Security Officer - Defence & Aerospace Sector (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) seeks a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer with 3-5 years of experience to oversee and manage security operations at our Lucknow facility. The ideal candidate will possess a BBA/BBM degree and a proven track record in maintaining a secure environment, implementing security protocols, and managing security personnel. This role is critical in safeguarding HAL's assets, personnel, and sensitive information within the defence and aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures in line with company and government regulations.
- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the security team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to schedules.
- Conduct regular security audits and inspections of premises, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Oversee access control systems, visitor management, and surveillance operations (CCTV).
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and suspicious activities, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and other external stakeholders when necessary.
- Manage emergency response plans and ensure preparedness for various security-related scenarios.
- Train and mentor junior security staff on security protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and personnel.
- Ensure the physical security of the facility, including perimeter security, asset protection, and personnel safety.
- Manage security budgets and procure necessary security equipment and supplies.
