Film Editor (3-5 Yrs) - Defence & Aerospace

Role Summary:
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is seeking a skilled and creative Film Editor with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing a variety of video content, including promotional videos, training materials, documentaries, and internal communications, with a focus on the defence and aerospace sector. A Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree is required, demonstrating a strong analytical and business acumen that can be applied to understanding project requirements and budget considerations within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into compelling and polished final products, ensuring narrative flow, pacing, and visual appeal.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and subject matter experts to understand project objectives and translate them into engaging visual stories.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance video content.
- Ensure all edited content adheres to brand guidelines and technical specifications.
- Manage and organize video assets, project files, and archives.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.
- Assist in the pre-production and post-production processes as needed.
- Potentially contribute to scriptwriting or storyboarding based on project needs, leveraging analytical skills gained from M.Com.
