Medical Officer - Defence & Aerospace (2-3 Yrs)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Officer with 2-3 years of experience and an M.Pharma degree to join our team in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our employees within the defence and aerospace sector, focusing on occupational health, emergency medical response, and health education.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide primary medical care and first aid to employees in case of illness or injury.

Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and specialized medical examinations.

Manage and maintain medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

Develop and implement health and wellness programs, including awareness campaigns on occupational hazards and general health.

Advise management on occupational health and safety issues, and contribute to the development of workplace safety protocols.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient progress.

Liaise with external healthcare providers and hospitals for specialized medical care when necessary.

Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are adequately stocked and in good working condition.
