Accountant / Accounts Executive - Startup (Thiruvananthapuram)

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Executive with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic startup team in Thiruvananthapuram. This role is ideal for a B.Tech/B.E. graduate looking to apply their analytical and problem-solving skills in the fast-paced fintech industry. You will be instrumental in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting our growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and presentations as required.
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and support audits.
- Assist in managing vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Utilize accounting software and tools for efficient record-keeping and analysis.
- Identify and suggest improvements to current accounting processes.
