Accounts Payable Executive - Urban Transport Sector (1-3 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive with 1-3 years of experience to join our finance team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires a B.Com degree and a foundational understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs (cheques, NEFT, RTGS, etc.).
- Maintain the accounts payable ledger and ensure accurate data entry.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues promptly.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses.
- Support audit requirements by providing necessary documentation.
- Maintain organized and complete vendor files.
