Junior QC Microbiologist - Urban Transport

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QC Microbiologist to join our team at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in Chandigarh. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent M.Sc graduate looking to gain practical experience in quality control within the urban transport sector. The QC Microbiologist will be responsible for conducting microbial testing, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to the overall quality assurance of our operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine microbial analysis of water samples, air samples, and environmental surfaces.

Perform basic laboratory procedures including sample preparation, media preparation, and sterilization.

Maintain accurate laboratory records and document all testing procedures and results.

Assist in the investigation of any microbial contamination incidents and follow-up actions.

Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and company safety protocols.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall environmental hygiene and safety.
