Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Air Traffic Controller with 0-1 years of experience to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and directing air traffic within our operational airspace, ensuring safety and efficiency, particularly in the context of power plant operations and related aerial activities. This role requires a unique blend of spatial reasoning, communication skills, and an understanding of operational logistics, leveraging a background in design thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior controllers in monitoring and managing air traffic movements within designated zones.
- Utilize radar and communication systems to track aircraft and provide clearances.
- Develop and implement visual aids and communication protocols for safe aerial operations around power facilities.
- Analyze flight paths and operational data to identify potential safety hazards or inefficiencies.
- Contribute design-based solutions for improving air traffic management systems and procedures.
- Coordinate with ground crew, pilots, and other relevant stakeholders for seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all air traffic activities.
- Respond to emergencies and unusual situations with prompt and effective action.
- Support the development of training materials and operational guidelines.
