Contract Ramp Agent (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Contract Ramp Agent with 3-5 years of experience and a B.Com degree to join our team in Bhubaneshwar. The Ramp Agent will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft on the ground, coordinating various ground handling activities, and maintaining high operational standards. This role requires a strong understanding of aviation ground operations and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all ground handling activities during aircraft turnaround, including baggage handling, cargo loading/unloading, and passenger boarding/deplaning.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate ground support equipment (GSE) such as baggage tugs, belt loaders, and pushback tractors safely and efficiently.
- Liaise with flight crew, air traffic control, and other ground personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage the timely loading and unloading of baggage and cargo, ensuring accurate weight and balance distribution.
- Respond to operational needs and emergencies with promptness and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of aircraft servicing, equipment usage, and any operational incidents.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized ramp area.
- Utilize financial and analytical skills gained from B.Com to contribute to operational efficiency and cost management where applicable.
