We are seeking a highly qualified and analytical Cyber Security / IT Risk professional with a Doctorate/PhD to join our esteemed client's team in Mangalore. This role is crucial for assessing and mitigating technology-related risks, ensuring the security of information assets, and advising on best practices within the recruitment and staffing domain. You will leverage your in-depth academic knowledge and practical experience to contribute to robust security frameworks and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for IT systems and processes within the recruitment lifecycle.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
- Advise on data privacy and protection measures, ensuring compliance with relevant Indian and international data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, Indian IT Act).
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions to enhance the overall security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into business operations and project lifecycles.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, trends, and technologies, and translate this knowledge into actionable security strategies.
- Contribute to security awareness training programs for employees.
- Perform IT audits and ensure adherence to security standards.
