Junior Head - Taxation - Recruitment / Staffing

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Head - Taxation to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an individual with 1-2 years of experience who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic recruitment and staffing environment. You will be responsible for supporting the taxation team in various compliance and advisory functions, ensuring adherence to Indian tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, TDS returns, and other applicable tax filings.
Support in the reconciliation of tax liabilities and payments.
Conduct basic tax research and analysis to support decision-making.
Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
Liaise with internal departments and external consultants on tax-related matters.
Stay updated with changes in Indian tax legislation and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of tax computations and assessments.
Handle day-to-day tax queries and provide support to the finance team.
