Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deck Cadet with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team at our Lucknow facility. This role is crucial in supporting our maritime operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of our vessels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of deck operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's deck department.
- Participate in watchkeeping duties, navigation, and cargo operations as directed by senior officers.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the deck and accommodation areas.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of deck equipment and machinery.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and international maritime standards.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of emergency drills and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Provide administrative support related to deck operations, including record-keeping and reporting.
