Dock Master (3-5 Yrs Experience)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Dock Master to oversee and manage the efficient operations of our docking facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth movement, parking, and accessibility of aircraft and vehicles within the designated dock areas, adhering to strict safety and operational protocols. This role requires hands-on experience in managing complex logistical movements in a defence or aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and direct the movement of aircraft, vehicles, and equipment within the docking bays and surrounding areas.
- Ensure optimal utilization of docking space and manage scheduling for incoming and outgoing assets.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines for all personnel and activities within the dock area.
- Coordinate with ground crew, maintenance teams, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all docking activities, including arrival and departure times, space allocation, and any incidents.
- Conduct regular inspections of docking facilities to ensure they are in good condition and compliant with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to any operational issues or emergencies within the docking area.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special docking requirements for new projects or specific aircraft types.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company policies related to operational safety and environmental compliance.
