Fleet / Transport Manager - Startup (Coimbatore)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Fleet / Transport Manager to join our growing startup in Coimbatore. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a BBA/BBM degree looking to gain hands-on experience in managing and optimizing transportation and fleet operations within the metals and mining industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of transportation routes and vehicle deployment.
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, fuel, and maintenance costs.
- Support in developing and implementing strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Handle day-to-day operational issues and provide solutions.
- Assist in managing relationships with third-party logistics providers.
- Generate reports on fleet operations and present findings to management.
