Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Installation & Maintenance Technician for a contract role within our Defence & Aerospace division in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and a B.Tech/B.E. degree, with a strong understanding of hardware systems and their installation and maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of critical hardware infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test various hardware components and systems as per technical specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues, including system failures and performance degradation.
- Maintain accurate records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians on complex hardware issues.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and company standards during installation and maintenance.
- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of hardware spare parts.
- Support the upgrade and replacement of obsolete hardware components.
