Industrial Designer - Mid-Level Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Industrial Designer to join our innovative product development team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science degree and 3-5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on sports equipment and apparel. You will be responsible for the entire product design lifecycle, from concept generation to final production, ensuring our products meet user needs, brand aesthetics, and performance standards. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, manufacturing processes, and material science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop innovative product designs for sports equipment and apparel, aligning with market trends and user requirements.
• Conduct thorough user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform design decisions.
• Create detailed 2D sketches, 3D models (CAD), renderings, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development process.
• Evaluate materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes to optimize product performance, cost, and sustainability.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
