Junior Accounting & Taxation Specialist - Other (Delhi)

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accounting & Taxation Specialist to join our finance team in Delhi. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with an LLM degree and 2-3 years of experience in accounting and taxation, looking to grow their career in a dynamic software product company.

Role Summary:
This position will support the accounting and taxation functions of the company. You will be involved in various aspects of financial record-keeping, tax compliance, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Indian tax laws and regulations. You will work closely with senior finance professionals to gain comprehensive experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, TDS, and other applicable direct and indirect taxes.
- Support in maintaining accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and journal entries.
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations, providing insights to the team on compliance matters.
- Assist in tax audits and assessments, gathering necessary documentation and information.
- Help in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in accounting standards and tax legislation in India.
- Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and taxation departments.
