Junior Security Engineer / Analyst - Packaging & Containers

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security Engineer / Analyst to join our IT Security team at Uflex Ltd. in Chandigarh. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a B.Sc. degree and 0-2 years of experience to kickstart their career in cybersecurity within the dynamic packaging industry.

Role Summary:
As a Junior Security Engineer / Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting the security team with monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats and incidents. You will help maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems and data. This role provides hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring security alerts and logs from various security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Perform initial analysis of security events and escalate potential incidents to senior team members.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and technologies.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and assist in tracking remediation efforts.
- Participate in security awareness training initiatives.
- Help in the documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends relevant to the packaging industry.
- Assist with user access management and privilege control.
- Contribute to security audits and compliance activities.
