Microbiologist (0-1 Yrs Experience)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Microbiologist with 0-1 years of experience to join our environmental monitoring and compliance team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and a strong foundational understanding of microbial analysis techniques. This role will support our efforts in ensuring environmental standards are met at our power generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine microbial testing on various environmental samples (water, air, soil) as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare culture media, reagents, and laboratory equipment for analysis.
- Isolate, identify, and enumerate microorganisms using appropriate microbiological techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records of all tests performed.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new testing methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and laboratory hygiene standards.
- Support senior scientists in data analysis and report generation.
- Participate in site visits for sample collection and environmental assessments.
