Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health & Safety professional with 3-5 years of experience and a M.Des degree to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment within our urban transport projects. This role requires a proactive approach to risk assessment, hazard control, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, particularly within urban transport infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety procedures, protocols, and emergency response plans.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national occupational health and safety legislation and standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to integrate safety into all project phases.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in occupational health and safety, especially concerning large-scale infrastructure and urban mobility projects.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
