Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ordinary Seaman (OS) with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. This role is crucial for the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet within the urban transport sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their B.Tech/B.E. education to understand technical specifications and contribute effectively to maritime operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the general upkeep and cleanliness of the vessel, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on deck machinery, equipment, and the vessel's hull under the supervision of senior officers.
- Participate in cargo operations, including loading, unloading, and securing of cargo.
- Stand watch duties as assigned, monitoring navigational equipment and reporting any anomalies.
- Operate and maintain deck equipment, such as winches, capstans, and cranes.
- Assist in emergency response drills and procedures, ensuring preparedness for any eventuality.
- Maintain logs and records of daily activities and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate effectively with the ship's crew to ensure efficient and safe operations.
