Phlebotomist Job Opportunity - Defence & Aerospace

Role Summary: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist with 2-3 years of experience and a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree to join our medical services team in Lucknow. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for accurately collecting blood samples for medical examinations and research purposes, ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of administrative and financial processes, leveraging the M.Com background for efficient record-keeping and inventory management of medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection accurately and efficiently on diverse patient populations.

Label and transport specimens correctly to the laboratory.

Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Verify patient information and ensure proper identification before sample collection.

Manage and maintain accurate patient records, including sample logs and test requisitions, utilizing M.Com skills for organized data management.

Monitor and manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and assisting with procurement processes based on financial principles learned in M.Com.

Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.

Assist with administrative tasks related to the medical department, leveraging accounting and finance knowledge from M.Com.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and data security.
