Plant Maintenance Manager (3-5 Yrs) | Vishakhapatnam

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plant Maintenance Manager with 3-5 years of experience and a strong LLB degree to oversee the maintenance operations at our Vishakhapatnam facility. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our urban transport manufacturing plant, adhering to all legal and regulatory compliances related to plant operations and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical understanding and legal acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant machinery and equipment.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee the procurement and inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of plant facilities to identify and rectify potential hazards and operational inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian labor laws, environmental regulations, and industrial safety standards (e.g., Factories Act, Pollution Control Board guidelines).
- Review and interpret legal documentation, contracts, and permits related to plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Investigate and report on any plant-related accidents or incidents, ensuring proper legal procedures are followed.
- Liaise with legal counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
