Purchase Executive / Officer - MNC (Indore)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Purchase Executive / Officer with 3-4 years of experience, possessing a B.Pharma degree, to join our procurement team in Indore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, components, and other essential supplies for our automotive manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, vendor management, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure raw materials, components, and indirect materials in accordance with company quality and cost standards.
- Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers, negotiate terms and contracts, and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing carrying costs.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., R&D, Production, Quality) to understand material requirements and specifications.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
- Leverage B.Pharma knowledge for sourcing specialized chemicals, excipients, or pharmaceutical-grade materials if applicable to specific automotive components or processes.
