Research Scientist - Travel & Tourism (3-4 Yrs)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and analytical Research Scientist with 3-4 years of experience and an LLM degree to join our dynamic team in Nagpur. You will be instrumental in driving innovation and data-driven insights within the travel and tourism sector. Your work will involve leveraging advanced research methodologies and your deep understanding of LLMs to solve complex problems, enhance customer experiences, and optimize business operations for MakeMyTrip. You will contribute to projects that shape the future of travel in India.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct research studies to understand traveler behavior, market trends, and emerging opportunities in the Indian travel and tourism landscape.
- Develop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms, with a strong focus on natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs), to extract actionable insights from diverse datasets.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, predict outcomes, and generate hypotheses for new products, services, or business strategies.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate research findings into practical applications and product features.
- Create compelling visualizations and reports to communicate complex research results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, NLP, and LLMs, and evaluate their potential application to the travel industry.
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property, including patents and publications, where appropriate.
- Perform competitive analysis and market research to identify potential threats and opportunities.
