Senior Head - Operations - Defence & Aerospace

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Head - Operations to oversee and optimize all operational aspects of our defence and aerospace manufacturing facilities in Nasik. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production, quality control, and timely delivery of critical defence components and aircraft. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes within the defence sector and a proven ability to lead and manage operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic operational plans to meet production targets and quality standards.

Manage day-to-day manufacturing activities, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.

Ensure adherence to stringent safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards specific to the defence industry.

Lead and mentor a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Oversee inventory management, supply chain logistics, and procurement processes to ensure operational efficiency.

Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve operational challenges and drive innovation.

Manage operational budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
