Sports Psychologist (Kolkata) - 2-3 Yrs

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sports Psychologist with 2-3 years of relevant experience and an M.Tech degree to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing mental performance enhancement and psychological support to our athletes and sports teams. This role requires a strong understanding of sports science, psychology, and the ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to the unique demands of professional sports within the dynamic environment of a leading telecommunications company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify strengths and areas for development in athletes.

- Develop and implement individualized and group mental skills training programs, including goal setting, visualization, and stress management techniques.

- Provide counseling and support to athletes dealing with performance anxiety, burnout, injury recovery, and other psychological challenges.

- Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and medical staff to create a holistic support system for athletes.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions and adjust strategies as needed.

- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in sports psychology.

- Foster a positive and resilient team culture that supports athlete well-being and peak performance.
