Job Description

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager with a strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices in the non-profit sector. The Audit Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on financial and operational audits to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accountability within the organization. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and supporting our mission to champion child rights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessments and scope definition, for financial and operational audits.

- Conduct audit fieldwork, including examination of financial records, internal controls, and compliance with policies and procedures.

- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit reports, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.

- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness.

- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

- Provide guidance and support to staff on internal controls and compliance matters.

- Ensure adherence to the organization's financial policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards.

- Maintain professional skepticism and objective judgment throughout all audit engagements.
