Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) - LLB Professionals

We are seeking a diligent and legally astute Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) with 2-3 years of experience to join our finance team in Guwahati. This role is ideal for an LLB graduate looking to leverage their legal acumen in a corporate accounting environment within the IT Services & Consulting sector. The CAO will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, managing financial reporting, and contributing to strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and interpret financial contracts and agreements, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

- Assist in the preparation and finalization of financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and IFRS.

- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to finance and accounting.

- Collaborate with legal and tax departments on corporate governance and compliance matters.

- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.

- Contribute to financial planning and analysis, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
