Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) - Engineering & Construction (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role is crucial for ensuring our operations in the Engineering & Construction sector adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance frameworks within the Indian context and a proactive approach to risk management. A postgraduate degree is not required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program for the Engineering & Construction division.
- Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the construction and engineering sector in India.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Advise management and employees on compliance matters and provide training to ensure awareness and adherence to policies.
- Investigate reported compliance concerns and breaches, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and regulatory requirements that may impact the company's operations.
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and other departments to ensure integrated compliance efforts.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and review of company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.
