Contract Ward Clerk (2-4 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Contract Ward Clerk with 2-4 years of experience and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree to support our operations in Mumbai. The Ward Clerk will be responsible for managing administrative tasks within a healthcare facility or a related department, ensuring efficient patient record management and seamless communication between medical staff and patients. This role requires a strong understanding of administrative processes and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and update patient demographic and medical information into the hospital's information system.
- Schedule patient appointments, admissions, and discharges, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Maintain and organize patient medical records, both physical and electronic, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Answer and direct phone calls, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and assist with general administrative duties.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care.
- Prepare and distribute reports and summaries related to patient flow and bed management.
- Ensure a clean and organized ward environment, adhering to hospital protocols.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information with empathy and professionalism.
