Role Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Entry-Level Geophysicist to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will assist senior geophysicists in conducting field surveys, data acquisition, and preliminary data processing under supervision. This role is suitable for individuals with a foundational understanding of geophysical principles and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing geophysical surveys (e.g., seismic, magnetic, gravity, electrical) under the guidance of senior geophysicists.
- Operate and maintain geophysical field equipment, ensuring accurate data collection.
- Conduct preliminary data processing and quality control of acquired data.
- Assist in the preparation of field reports and documentation.
- Participate in geological mapping exercises and data interpretation sessions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operational guidelines during field work.
- Learn and apply various geophysical techniques and software tools.
