Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented HVAC Supervisor with 1-2 years of experience and an M.Des degree to join our facilities management team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems within our state-of-the-art medical device manufacturing and research facilities. This role requires a unique blend of technical understanding and design thinking to ensure optimal environmental control for sensitive equipment and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of all HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), ventilation systems, and controls.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, recommending and implementing timely repairs.
- Monitor environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, air quality) to ensure they meet the stringent requirements for medical device manufacturing and laboratory operations.
- Develop and implement energy conservation strategies for HVAC systems.
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and inventory of spare parts.
- Assist in the design and implementation of minor HVAC modifications or upgrades, applying principles of design thinking to optimize functionality and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Respond to emergency HVAC-related issues promptly.
