Junior Fraud Detection / Prevention - Government / Public Administration

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Fraud Detection / Prevention Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in safeguarding the integrity of our payment systems and protecting our users from fraudulent activities. You will work closely with experienced professionals to identify, investigate, and mitigate potential fraud risks within the government and public administration payment infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent M.Com graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and impactful sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor transaction data and system logs for suspicious activities and anomalies indicative of fraud.

- Assist in the investigation of reported fraud incidents, gathering evidence and documenting findings.

- Learn and apply fraud detection techniques and tools to identify patterns and trends.

- Support the development and implementation of fraud prevention strategies and controls.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and technology, to resolve fraud-related issues.

- Prepare reports on fraud trends, investigation outcomes, and recommended actions.

- Stay updated on emerging fraud threats and best practices in the financial and public sector.
