Machine Shop Incharge / Supervisor - Government / Public Administration (Mumbai) - 3-4 Yrs

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Shop Incharge / Supervisor with 3-4 years of experience to oversee operations at our facility in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) degree, bringing a unique perspective on precision, aesthetics, and functionality to our manufacturing processes. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of components vital to our aerospace and defence projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and calibration of various machine tools (e.g., CNC machines, lathes, milling machines).
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures within the machine shop environment.
- Train and guide junior technicians and operators on machine operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate component fabrication.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and production issues, implementing timely solutions.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products, verifying compliance with design specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain detailed records of production, maintenance, and inventory.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
