We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Medical Biller / Coder with a strong legal background to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 3-4 years of experience in medical billing and coding, coupled with an LLB degree, enabling a unique perspective on compliance and regulatory aspects within healthcare administration. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial transactions and adherence to all relevant legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret medical records to assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes.
- Ensure all submitted claims are accurate, complete, and compliant with payer regulations and legal requirements.
- Manage the entire billing cycle, from claim submission to payment posting and denial management.
- Investigate and appeal denied claims, leveraging legal understanding to strengthen appeals.
- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines, payer policies, and healthcare legislation.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding.
- Perform audits to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing billing and coding policies that align with legal mandates.
