Mountaineering Instructor Job Opportunity - Engineering & Construction

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mountaineering Instructor with 3-4 years of relevant experience to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, leading, and instructing various mountaineering expeditions and training programs, ensuring the safety and development of participants. This role requires a Bachelor of Arts degree and a strong understanding of outdoor leadership and risk management, particularly within the context of corporate team-building and skill development programs in the engineering and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver comprehensive mountaineering training modules, including climbing techniques, rope management, navigation, and wilderness survival.

Lead and supervise participants on expeditions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental best practices.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for all activities.

Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to participants to foster skill development and confidence.

Manage equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly maintained.

Collaborate with the HR and Training departments to design and implement corporate team-building and leadership development programs.

Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and incident reports.
