Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Naval Architect with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to contribute to significant maritime projects. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers on various aspects of ship design, construction, and maintenance. This position does not require a postgraduate degree.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of ship design concepts and detailed drawings using CAD software.
Perform calculations for stability, buoyancy, hull strength, and propulsion systems.
Support the preparation of technical specifications and documentation for shipbuilding projects.
Collaborate with design teams and production personnel to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.
Participate in design reviews and site inspections during construction phases.
Contribute to research and development of new shipbuilding technologies and methodologies.
