Procurement / Purchase Manager - Startup (Vishakhapatnam)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement / Purchase Manager to join our growing startup in the recruitment and staffing industry. This entry-level role is ideal for an M.Tech graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement processes, vendor management, and cost optimization within a dynamic startup environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for office supplies, IT equipment, and other operational necessities.
- Research and identify potential vendors, evaluate their offerings, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including vendor contracts and payment schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid stockouts.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
- Support the M.Tech project on optimizing procurement processes for a startup.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and best practices in procurement.
