QC Microbiologist (1-3 Yrs) at Marico Limited

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QC Microbiologist with 1-3 years of experience to join our Quality Control team in Kolkata. This role is crucial for ensuring the microbiological safety and quality of our beauty and personal care products. While a B.Com degree is listed as a requirement, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality control principles and a keen eye for detail, transferable from their financial or business background, with a willingness to learn and apply microbiological concepts within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as per established SOPs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities, including test results, instrument calibration, and media preparation.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory hygiene and safety standards.
- Support in the investigation of out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations.
- Participate in environmental monitoring programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QC processes and procedures.
