Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee / Apprentice Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at our corporate office in Surat. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with an M.Des degree looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate food service environment within the BFSI sector. You will work under the guidance of experienced chefs, learning all aspects of kitchen operations, food preparation, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Learn and practice proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques.
Support the culinary team in daily kitchen operations, including mise en place.
Participate in inventory management and stock rotation.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Assist with food presentation and plating.
Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Develop culinary skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and mentorship.
