Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 2nd Engineer to join our dynamic Hardware & Networking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our network infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to the implementation of new hardware and networking solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of network protocols, hardware components, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and performance bottlenecks.
- Install, configure, and upgrade network devices and related hardware components.
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect against threats.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and network-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest hardware and networking technologies and best practices.
