Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 2nd Engineer to join our technical operations team. The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the smooth functioning of our engineering systems and infrastructure within our BPO operations. This role requires a strong understanding of technical processes, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring operational efficiency and service delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in the daily operations and maintenance of all engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to identify and address potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that arise in the facility, ensuring minimal disruption to BPO operations.
- Monitor system performance and energy consumption, implementing measures for optimization.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and guide junior technicians and support staff.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide timely solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the facility meets the operational needs of the BPO.
