2nd Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced 2nd Engineer to join our esteemed engineering team at our Bangalore property. The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in maintaining and repairing hotel infrastructure and equipment, with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of all hotel services and maintaining high standards of safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.
- Monitor and operate building systems, including HVAC, water treatment, and power generation.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify potential problems and preventative maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Support the implementation of energy conservation initiatives.
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior technicians or maintenance staff as needed.
- Participate in emergency response procedures.
