2nd Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced 2nd Engineer to join our dynamic team. The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems and equipment within our managed facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and a commitment to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operation and monitoring of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on building equipment and machinery.
- Respond to and troubleshoot operational issues and equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, system performance, and energy consumption.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Support the Chief Engineer in managing spare parts inventory and procurement.
- Participate in emergency response procedures and assist in disaster recovery efforts.
- Conduct regular safety checks and report any hazards or potential risks.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians and building staff.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for facility operations.
