Role Summary: The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe production processes within UPL's chemical manufacturing facilities in India. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to upholding safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor plant equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and performance data.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures.
- Participate in safety drills and training programs.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to resolve operational challenges.
- Support in process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
