Job Description
We are seeking a motivated 5th Engineer / TME with a strong academic background and 2-4 years of relevant experience to join our team in Ludhiana. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our port infrastructure and related technical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree and a keen analytical mind.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the maintenance and repair of marine and port equipment, including engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery.
Perform technical diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational issues.
Support the TME (Technical Marine Engineer) in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate logs and reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and incident investigations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and implement improvements.
Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in the ports and shipping industry.
