Able Seaman (AB) - Metals & Mining Sector

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Able Seaman (AB) with 1-3 years of experience to join our esteemed organization in the Metals & Mining sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their BCA qualification to contribute to our operational efficiency and data management within the mining environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of maritime operations related to resource transportation and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine tasks on deck and in the engine room as directed by senior officers.

Assist in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring adherence to all maritime regulations.

Maintain the cleanliness and good order of the vessel, including deck equipment and accommodation areas.

Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.

Utilize basic data entry and reporting skills, potentially supported by your BCA knowledge, for inventory management and operational logs.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and environmental standards.

Operate and maintain deck machinery and equipment as required.
