Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Accessory Designer to join our dynamic fashion team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing a range of fashion accessories that align with Myntra's brand aesthetic and market trends. You will work closely with the merchandising, production, and marketing teams to bring innovative accessory collections to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design innovative and commercially viable fashion accessories, including bags, jewelry, scarves, belts, and other relevant categories.
- Research and analyze current fashion trends, market demands, and competitor activities to inform design decisions.
- Create detailed design sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible for production and meet quality standards.
- Select appropriate materials, hardware, and finishes, considering cost, quality, and aesthetic.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Prepare presentations of new designs for internal review and approval.
- Ensure all designs meet the brand's aesthetic and target customer profile.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and sustainable practices in accessory design and production.
